I’m not here. I’m there. Or something.

Thanks again for all of the prayers being offered on behalf of our family. We greatly appreciate them and they are truly being felt. Thank you also for all of the happy birthday wishes for my little lady yesterday.

I won’t be around here today but you can head over to Loves of Life where one of my very besties, Katie, writes and listen to me spout off about all the things I wish I knew about becoming a parent. Now that I have an entire year under my belt, I figured I might have some wisdom to share. Or not.

Katie is witty, and funny, and real – and definitely one of the best writers I know. I’m honoured that she’s given me the chance to invade her space while she’s off enjoying fun in the sun with her husband – sans baby. Hello, jealous!

So, go on. What are you waiting for? Head on over.

I went over and read your post. You are so right on all counts. Don't forget peeing in your pants. I would pee in my pants every time I would cough or sneeze or maybe even just bump into something. It went on for pretty much the first year. Awesome.

Great post! I always tell my friends without kids that I'll give them the REAL "what to expect" summary :)
