Two Weeks Before D-Day

'Twas two weeks before d-day,
And all through this place.
Everyone was thinkingAlign CenterAbout that baby's face.

The birth supplies were arranged
In the bedroom with care.
In hopes that a baby
Soon would be there.

The onesies were set out
The little sleepers, too.
While we waited and waited,
And waited for you.

Mama was restless,
and perhaps somewhat antsy.
As she eagerly anticipated
That which her heart did fancy.

Daddy was all set,
Ready to meet his child.
Seeing Mom's belly,
It sure made him smile.

They were waiting together,
For that day to come.
When they would finally know
Their sweet little one.

So come on, Dear Baby
we're ready to see,
What life will be like,
When two changes to three!

Thanks for stopping by! You're in the home stretch for sure :)

I'll look forward to your birth story--if you decide to share it. My husband and I regularly reflect on the experience of our son's birth, it was incredible.

Happy birth-day!!
