I had submitted my marked papers that day and had finished transcribing my data. All of the official school goals I had set to complete by Christmas were done. The shopping was done, the presents were wrapped. And we were ready to head into Cramp Family Christmas Weekend relaxed and ready to enjoy time with his family.
And then a conversation I never thought possible took place.
Me: "Wow. Looks like we made it through this week."
FD: "Yes. We did. And you did a great job."
Me: "Thanks. I think I handled the week okay."
FD: "You handled everything really well and were so organized. You hardly got stressed at all."
Me: "Thanks."
.... and then ... the words I never thought I'd hear ....
Him: "And I think your lists really helped this week."
Um, yeah they did. They always do.

YAY! The beauty of a list is even obvious to a man! Success!
No duh. Lists are a lifesaver :)
silly boys! they just don't get it do they?
Awww I love it. I use lists too...but I'm not actually organized enough to make them work to my advantage. Except for grocery shopping...I'm really good at that! I separate everything on my list by category (frozen, dairy, produce, etc) and it has changed my life.
