Do your husbands think you're crazy?!?!

The fabulous dude thinks that my addiction to love for blogging is absolutely and totally crazy. Perhaps this is because I talk about all of you as though you're my BFFs and I plan out our future vacations around each of your locations so that I can meet you someday or because I take pictures of the weirdest things on a daily basis and follow it up with "I so have to blog about this".

He rolls his eyes when I tell him something funny that one of you posted about and when I talk pictures of every single thing I cook to post on my cooking blog. A few weeks ago when I was busy making a meal I asked him to take a picture of something that was on the stove. He rolled his eyes and said, "I thought this was just a phase!" Another time he came into the kitchen while I was cooking and saw me taking a picture and said "No one wants to see a photo of an empty frying pan!"

Don't even get me started about what he thinks about all the giveaways I try to win. (P.S. Don't forget to enter my giveaway - you guessed it -he thinks that's crazy too)!

So, girls, am I alone in this, or do your husbands (boyfriends, finances etc) think you're loco too?

I think hubby likes it. He usually reminds me to update it, and says he loves to read my posts. ;-) He probably thinks I'm crazy for doing it too...

Ha! The FD refuses to read my blog unless I tie him to the chair and prop his eyelids open so he has no choice. The only time he EVER read my blog on his own free will was on his birthday. And I posted about a surprise I had for him because I knew he NEVER read my blog. Of course, that was the one day he chose to read it.

My husband seems to be fine with my blogging habits :) There have been times that he wanted to look at something on the computer and he had to wait for me to get done leaving a comment on someone's blog. Ha!

Thanks so much for the money saving tips. I appreciate your thoughts and your help.
Blessings,
Amy

haha My hubby likes it too! He does laugh at me now and then, but I'm still working on getting him to read it more often.

Oh girl, my husband thinks I'm crazy too. He hasn't ever even read my blog! I think he thinks it's just a phase too, but baby- I'm here to stay! lol

Oh girl, you are NOT alone. Jason thinks I "have issues". In fact, a couple days ago, I made the point to show him "see, other people take pictures of their food too!!".
Just yesterday, I was telling him how the kids have never seen Niagara Falls and that it would be a fun trip with them. I mean, "Jeez! It's a natural wonder that's only 3 hours away. How could we let this happen?!" lol
{Hint, hint!} ;)
No passports, though. I guess that trip will have to wait a bit.

Men just don't understand how you can form a real friendship when you've never actually met the person. My husband is fine with me blogging and even encourages it from time to time. At first he thought it was strange until the supportive comments from my bloggy friends helped me quit smoking. He doesn't really care one way or the other about give aways but will help me draw a name, etc. And...I totally talk about meeting other bloggers in real life. The only time he had a problem was when I met the first blogger in person. He wanted to watch from the car to make sure it wasn't a man. LOL!!! Men can be so protective. Good luck convincing him you aren't crazy. :) XOXO

Craig rolls his eyes whenever I mention stories I have read on blogs.
I have a feeling he thinks that people only blog to keep their families updated, and therefore I am being nosy when I read people's blogs.

That being said, he does know that I refuse to tell anyone the addresses to any of my blogs.

My hubby also thinks I'm crazy. BUT he sure makes it a point to read my blog on a daily basis! Obviously something is keeping him coming back! haha Though he continuously reminds me of my lack for proofreading my own blog :-)

My hubby seems to go back and forth...there are times he doesn't like me continuously taking pictures (especially when it involves food and it taking more time to get to the dinner table ;), but he'll often ask me, 'are you gonna blog about this?' and most of the time I do! ;) So, while I don't think he thinks I'm crazy, he certainly doesn't understand my passion for it. :) but he does read it every now and then.

DITTO! My husband teases me that every conversation I start begins with, "So I was reading this blog today and..." I have been reading blogs for almost the past year, but I am fairly new to having my own blog, so I don't think to post certain events until after they are long over. I am getting better though. I think my husband thought it was just a phase too. I don't really think so!

Well I don't have a husband haha, but my mom laughs at me whenever I tell her a blog story or something. And when I say, "so I was reading a blog.." she interrupts with "of course you were." I just think they don't understand the whole idea behind blogging and how fun & addicting it is! Plus you "meet" amazing people!

I am sure Mr. J would think I was absolutely NUTS if he really knew how much time I spent reading everyone's lovely blogs and coming up with new things to post. I think the distance thing has really helped keep him in the dark for the time being. :) I don't know how he'll react when we're living together and he discovers my obsession/love of blogging. We'll see what happens! But I'm pretty sure we'll be grouped into the same category at that point, my dear, fellow-insane blogger. :)

yes.

He says that I am obsessed. I am not. really. okay- only a little.

(Chris doesn't read my blog either. EVER!)

I've always blogged, so my husband is used to it. ;) He's a writer, too (not a blogger, though), so that might have something to do with it.

I think Matt thinks it's weird, but at the same time I know he feels bad I don't have many real-life friends here in Bloomington. Blogging makes me feel so much less lonely.

ALSO, I got him hooked on several man-blogs of his own, which he reads daily, even though he doesn't actually blog himself.

My husband and teen like it especially when I include them.
They even read from time to time.

My husband doesn't think I'm crazy .. obsessed maybe, but not crazy! He actually encouraged me to drive 5 hours away this past weekend to meet up with some of my blogging friends. I was grateful for his support!

Z just rolls his eyes now. Or goes "oooh that would be a hilarious blog post! take a picture!"

My husband is the exact same way! Although, he loves to tease me about it! (I'm actually thinking I've got him locked into a guest post on what it's like to be married to a blogging woman. He said he'd do it last night when I asked him to...fingers crossed!)

No, you are not alone. My BF thinks that I have a ton of imaginary friends and that I am cracked over this whole blogging thing.

My husby likes it too! He humors me when I bust out the camera for an awkward photo that MUST make it to the blog...because I KNOW strangers care about how I made my egg rolls...

I talk about everyone like they're my BFFs too...and I'm always like..."One of my bloggy friends said the funniest thing today..."

I think he's sick of me taking pictures of us all the time when we're out doing things. Hey...I just want to document our lives together. Is that so bad?? :)

My fiancee thinks I am absolutely crazy. I think he thought it was a phase and now I am getting more and more into it. Now I feel bad when I don't have something to blog about.

LOL ~ this post brought a smile to my face. I am sure our hubbies roll their eyes......but they probably figure "whatever makes them happy" LOL

I am sometimes thinking of blog titles as I am taking different pictures LOL

It is a fun hobby!!

definately not alone girly! lol!
my man thought the same thing! at first he thought it was wrong to publicly talk about our life and post pictures but he quickly got over it.
he knows i really enjoy it and i've won a couple things now which is really exciting! he is warming up to the whole idea. now, he likes to read my blog occasionally.
he even said he wants to post some day! ha!

Craig has his own blog, but he only posts sporadically. I think he finds my (almost)daily blogging, blog reading, and blog friends mildly amusing.
What I really wanted to say is that our city is a fabulous place for a vacation! Lots of free things to do (zoo, science center, art museum, all free!) Plus, you'd have a place to stay!

oh lordy my hubby thinks my love of blogging is ridiculous! even more ridiculous was my putting together an austin get together. he was like "how do you know those girls aren't going to abduct you and stick you in a shed somewhere!?" my response: "umm, because they post weight watchers recipes."

My husband reads my blog daily and it makes me nervous! He checks it through-out the day, reads comments, and let's me know when I haven't written something with proper English, or have mistakes! When I haven't posted in awhile, he asks when I will be updating...I wish he would create his own blog...and I could have a secret one where I can say more...I think mine is becoming so filtered that it takes the joy away...hmmmm...I think your post touched a nerve with me! Thanks for your post Lucy Marie!! :-)
