Menu Plan Monday

Last week was somewhat of a lazy kitchen week. I don't really have much to share.

I won't be trying many new recipes this week either because I only have two nights to cook. I'm hoping that soon (perhaps this week) I will be able to start sharing some of the preserving that I will be doing with our garden's bounty. The tomatoes are trying their very hardest to ripen and the peppers are in abundance. Salsa, stewed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, pickled beets and red pepper relish ... here we come!

Sunday
Babysitting all day, FD in a ball tournament

Tuesday

Snacks
I'm looking for some good snacks to take with us in the car. Some that are on my list are cheesy crackers, granola bars and oatmeal cookies. Any other suggestions?

Head over here for some more menu planning ideas.

What about those fruit leather things? If you had a dehydrator, you could make some great ones.
