I am very limited in what wedding photos I can display on my blog because I don't have the rights to my professional photos and I don't even have digital copies of them ... boo hoo! So, I can only show photos that other friends and family took at our wedding. If you want to see the real deal, you're going to have to come visit me and look at my scrapbook.
The dress I chose was very different than what I had expected, which is something I think many brides experience. In fact, this dress was actually my second choice. There was another one that I loved but I was having trouble choosing between the two.
I ended up with this one because both my mom and MOH liked it best. Also, after much contemplation, we all agreed that the fabulous dude would probably like this dress best. Since we were having an outdoor, garden wedding, I knew that this dress would be most fitting and comfortable. In the end, I'm so glad I chose this one because the other one would have been much heavier as it was quite a bit larger. The day was gorgeous, but hot, and I was sweating as it was. Also, I later showed FD a photo similar to the other one I was contemplating (without him knowing it had been a possibility to be my dress) and he crinkled his nose. He definitely did not crinkle his nose at the dress I wore.
I got my dress from Merilee's Bridal. I had such a fantastic experience there, and I know many other brides who have said the same thing. If you are in this area, it is the place to go.
I wanted to show a photo of the back of my dress because I loved the lace-up back. Unfortunately, the veil doesn't really allow you to see the detailing.Like I said, these aren't the best photos to show off the dress but at least you get the idea.
