Menu Plan Monday

Last week we began to see the benefits of having a garden. We had our first round of zucchini. By next week, we'll have another crop. As a result, we enjoyed a number of dishes featuring garden veggies.

We had...
cherry sauce
sesame chicken salad

The plan for this week looks like this:

Sunday
Lunch - lifegroup potluck (took store bought chicken and dessert because we got home late last night
Supper - chips, salsa and guacamole (this was our signature Sunday night supper for our first year married ... sometimes it's nice to get back to the basics)

Monday
Dinner at our friends

Tuesday
Stir Fry**
Salad

Wednesday
Shrimp Pasta** (didn't get to it last week)
Salad

Thursday
BBQ chicken pizza**

Friday
Grilled Chicken
Rice
Apple-y Carrots**
Beet tops
Salad
Gluten free biscuits**
Cherry Pie**

Saturday
Steak
Mushrooms
Twice Baked Potatoes**
Corn on the cob
Gluten free biscuits**
Gluten-free brownies for dessert

Breakfasts
zucchini bread
fruit - apricots, pears, peaches
yogurt

Lunches
leftovers
salad

Bread
Honey Oat Bread
Cheesy Garlic French Bread

I have never made things like zucchini bread. Can you clearly taste pieces of zucchini or do you chop it up too small?
