You may have noticed that I haven’t been blogging much lately (or, um, maybe you haven’t … but please, just let me believe you have, okay?). I haven’t had much to write about and, I’m of the opinion that I’d rather write nothing than write a bunch of stupidity.
But, just so you don’t think I’ve completely fallen off the face of the earth, I decided to show my face and give you a little (entirely random) update on what we’ve been up to.
Last week, Eva and I spent some time at my parent’s place. My mom and dad were watching my sister’s littles for a few days, so I headed down to help out (although not sure how much help I really was since most of my time was spent toting around my own little).
Eva loved spending time with her Nana, Papa, and cousins. She laughed whenever Little H came into her line of vision and was trying ever so hard to keep up with Baby A’s noises and movement.
Speaking of movement, we’re getting dangerously close. She’s rolling like a feign and starting to scoot. She’s still going mostly backwards, but occasionally, I find her in a spot and wonder how on earth she possibly got to where she is. I’ve caught her up on her hands and knees rocking back and forth a few times. Yikes! It’s happening too soon. (FTR, have I ever mentioned that her father walked, like real, live walking, at 7.5 months? As my friend, Kyle, put it .. I am praying for average kinaesthetic ability for this child).
We spent the weekend with the Dude’s parents. They came down for a much needed visit. Aside from a few hours at her dedication service, we hadn’t seen them since Christmas. Somehow, in the midst of the activities of the weekend, I managed to come away with zero photos. Shame on me.
We’ve had a few whacky days and nights around here. We’re suspicious that she might be in the process of cutting her first tooth but who knows? We’ve never done this before!
Today I got a cardboard cut. I thought I was going to lose my finger. It still stings.
It seems lately that there’s been nothing going on and tons going on all at the same time. I’ve been busy loving on my girl, keeping our home, and chillin’ with the hubby!
I’m sure before too long I’ll get some inspiration and blogging will be back in full swing, but for now … I’m going to let go of any pressure I feel and just roll with it.

Whhaaaat!!! when did she start going up on her knees???
She is about to discover a whole new world!!!
Missing you guys...we're gone south for two weeks...I'd better see her before all the teeth, crawling and walking happens...amazing how baby A looks like both her mommy and daddy at the same time!
Love the pictures of her chewing on her Sophie!
cute pictures! :)
I noticed!! But I also knew you were busy with family and chalked it up to that. ;) Looking forward to the day when you feel like you shave something more to say! (and just for the record, no one thinks a daily account of the "nothing" that you did that day would be a boring blog post. Just sayin.)
I like your random posts. Keep 'em coming.
