How?

How can it be possible that we’ve gone from this…

40 weeks 001

To this…

Day 3 and 4 054

To this…

025

in such a short time.

How can it be possible that it has been six months, HALF a year, since this tiny little person changed our lives and our hearts in ways we could not have anticipated?

How can it be possible that she’s growing up so fast?

Happy Half Birthday to you, my Sweet Vanilla Bean!

(Eva’s official 6 month update and photo heavy post will come later in the week after we have her appointment and I know all her stats.)

She's so flipping cute. And I'm not partial at all since she's my half daughter.

(let's see how many people wonder about that statement)

They get big FAST. My baby is going to be 8 this year. 8! My life is running away from me, I swear.

I basically bawled (yes, I did) the night before E's half birthday. Sobbed, in bed. Declan had to stroke my face, and rub my head and tell me it was OKAY and she was meant to grow. lol. I feel so silly, but OMG it goes so fast! happy 1/2 birthday EVALYNNNNNN!

I know. I KNOW.

Today, L said, "Am I still four, mommy?"

I fought the urge to tell him to stay four forever.

Sigh.
