A Cramp in My Arms

Well, friends, I no longer have a Cramp in my tummy.

My Cramp is now in my arms.

We are pleased to introduce Evalyn Ada Joy weighing 7 lbs 10 oz, 20 inches long.

Born peacefully in our home September 22nd at 1:26 p.m. after approximately 21 hours of labour.

We are in love.

She lives up to her name - she has a head full of black Monkey hair.

Will post pictures as soon as possible.

You can't post an introductory post without a photo! :) That's just teasing!

I hope your friend was able to get lots of photos of the journey! I heard his parents ventured down there this morning, so you must have had quite the household!

I can't believe you were in labour for so long. I thought I was the only unlucky one!

Beautiful name...is she named Joy after my niece Katie Joy, who is named after my mom? And do you say Evalyn with a long E or a short E?
