Itchy

I have an itch. It's getting stronger. I've had this itch before but I could always keep it under control. This time, I'm not so sure. It just keeps coming back. I think this itch may be contagious because lots of people around me have also had the same itch. Some of them scratched it! My sister even scratched it. Her itch is really cute. I think she passed it on to me. My fabulous dude sometimes gets a bit itchy ... not as itchy as me though.

So, what do ya say? Should I scratch it?

Oh Lindsay! Scratch it! You'll be a great scratcher! :) Although, there isn't a rush... so if there are things you still want to do before then do them then scratch away!

It complicates things....but it would be awesome for you to scratch it.

Pray about it. It will be the most wonderful part of your life and the most difficult

I'd never discourage you, cuz it's great, but the saying that it changes your whole life and it will never be the same is true. If you've got things to do (i.e. school, whatever) that would be harder to accomplish if you scratched, keep that in consideration! :)

And I agree with Anon...pray!

I think you should definitely scratch it, but not until after I get back.

Hmmm...I thought that was what you were getting at! :-) Take your time and when everything is just right...you'll know! Happy scratching! :-)

You know what? I think you should scratch it. It is a God given itch and he would never tell you to ignore it. God never told anyone to wait until their homework was done. Seek his wisdom. I'll pray for you.

But just remember that there is absolutely no way that your itch could be as cute as mine...so don't be disappointed when that happens.

Hi Lindsay
In my homework this week I am reading some stuff by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He was a Lutheran minister who was held in Nazi prisons for opposing the war efforts. He wrote a “Wedding Sermon From a Prison Cell” for his sister, who was getting married. In it he writes,

God has laid a blessing on marriage, ... the blessing is the promise of children. God allows humankind to share in his perpetual work of creation but it is God himself who blesses marriage with children. 'Children are a heritage from the Lord' (Pslm. 127: 3) and they should be treated as such. It is from God that parents receive children and it is to God that they should lead them.
