Christmas Baking

Christmas would not be Christmas without a whole bunch of sweet goodies to indulge in! Every year, I get together with my mom to do our baking. We got together last week and baked like crazy people for the day to put together tins and tins of goodies. Although we sometimes change up our repertoire, we have essentially perfected our Christmas baking list and make the same things year after year.

Oh my goodnesss... I almost died at the sight of that raspberry bark. There are too many delicious flavors there! It would be a new favorite and yet another reason I'm going to gain 20lbs this holiday. :) Love it! I can't wait to try it. :)

MMMMMMMMM! Makes me nearly ready to make my toffee. Nearly. I spent the day baking cutouts and my feet need a break before I stand at the stove stirring. Look at you and all your treats, did you do all that in one day!?!?! Have mercy, you ROCK!

Lucy, I came over from Kelly's korner. What is "icing sugar" mentioned in the shortbread recipe? Is that "powdered" sugar or confectioners sugar? My sister loves these kinds of cookies, so I would love to make her some. Thanks! And Merry Christmas!

Hi Sue,

Thanks for stopping by. Yes, icing sugar is the same thing as powdered sugar or confectioners sugar. I guess icing sugar must be a Canadian term? I've heard a few other of my American friends mention that they don't know what icing sugar is. Interesting! I will update the shortbread recipe post so that it is clear!
